2 injured in shooting at Aurora house party

Two people were shot early Sunday morning at a house party in Aurora, police said.

Aurora officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 3600 block of South Andes Way just after 1 a.m. Sunday, according to a news release from the police department.

When officers arrived, they found two men had been shot, police said. Paramedics took an unidentified 19-year-old with serious injuries and another man believed to be around the same age with life-threatening injuries to the hospital.

Investigators said a fight broke out during the Saturday night house party that escalated into the shooting.

As of Sunday morning, no suspects had been publicly identified and no arrests had been made.
