A few white teenagers were arrested for throwing a banana and screaming racial statements to a black teenager before he hit him with their friends in a metro station in Brooklyn on Monday morning, the police said.
The 16-year-old boy walked in the Cuey Island-Stillwell Avenue station when a group of nine teenagers attacked him during a raid filled with hatred around 8 am, according to sources and police.
The crazy white crowd threw a banana at him, called him the n-word and then kicked and hit him before taking one of his shoes at the mezzanine level in the station, the police said.
The teenager refused medical help on the spot, but later went to NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health for head injury.
The pathogenic attack was placed on Instagram and went viral for a short time before it was removed, sources said.

The charges against the two teenagers and 14-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy-goods on Wednesday evening awaiting.
The other attackers, who are assumed to be all teenage boys, still have to be caught.
The NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating the incident.
