Most Audi SUVs have a coupe-style counterpart, so it was only a matter of time before the electric Q6 e-tron got one too.
The Audi Q6 Sportback e-tron takes the mid-size electric SUV, which will go on sale here in the first half of 2025, and gives it a more sweeping roofline.
The electric SUV coupe will make its personal debut at the Paris Motor Show next week.

It rides on the same Premium Platform Electric (PPE) as the Q6 e-tron and shares its 2899mm wheelbase.
Audi says the Q6 Sportback e-tron’s styling features a roofline reminiscent of the first-generation TT coupe and a “streamlined water drop”, with the SUV having a drag coefficient of 0.26 Cd – better than 0 .28 of the regular Q6 e-tron. tron.
The sleeker design results in a maximum WLTP driving range of up to 656 km for the single-engine long-range performance variant; the same powertrain in the Q6 e-tron SUV has a claimed range of 641 km.

The base and performance models feature rear-wheel drive, while all-wheel drive models feature rear torque bias for improved driving dynamics.
Passive frequency-selective damping is standard, while adaptive air suspension is available.
Although the Sportback looks sleeker than the regular Q6 e-tron on the outside, they are actually the same on the inside.
Both body styles feature an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system and an optional 10.9-inch passenger display. Also optional is an augmented reality head-up display and a 20-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system.
The infotainment system, which uses Android Automotive OS, has available built-in apps like YouTube and an AI-enabled digital assistant that uses ChatGPT if it can’t answer your general knowledge question.
Audi notes that ChatGPT does not have access to vehicle data and that all questions and answers are deleted in the interest of data protection.
There’s a ‘soft wrap’ that extends from the doors and across the dashboard to the center console, and is available in fabric and microfibre.
Sustainable materials have also been used in the interior, with S line models featuring recycled fabric for the soft upholstery, and Draft – fabric made from 100 percent recycled polyester – across the headliner, pillars and sun visors.
In terms of boot space, there’s 64 liters under the bonnet and 511 liters in the rear, with the latter figure expanding to 1373 liters with the rear seats folded.
Audi offers Sportback versions of its Q3, Q4 e-tron, Q5 and Q8 e-tron SUVs. The combustion-powered Q8 may also be a Sportback version of the Q7.
The Q6 e-tron is one of a growing number of vehicles based on the PPE chassis architecture, co-developed by Audi and Porsche. This also includes the Porsche Macan EV, as well as the Audi A6 e-tron expected here in the first half of 2025.
