Powertrain and efficiency
The Silverado HD is offered with only one engine, a 6.6-liter turbo diesel V8.
It is only linked with a 10-speed automatic transmission that incopores an external auxiliary shipping cooler.
The pick-up has a double transfer of transfer, so that you can select between 2WD, Auto, 4WD Hi and 4WD LO modes.
