2025 MG Cyberster price and specs

Jordan Mulach

The 2025MG Cyberster has landed in Australia, where prices for the convertible sports car have been announced.

Priced from $115,000 excluding on-road coststhe MG Cyberster really is the brand’s most expensive model sold in Australia, surpassing the Ford V8-powered ZT 260, which was listed at $89,990-plus on the road two decades ago.

It also marks the start of a new niche segment and will be the first electric convertible to go on sale in Australia, although Porsche will soon battery power its Boxster and Maserati will introduce its GranCabrio Folgore. However, both are expected to be more expensive than the MG.

There are hundreds of new car deals available through AutoExpert now. Get the experts on your side and score a good deal. Browse now.

Unlike other markets where the MG Cyberster is available with two different battery sizes and with rear- or all-wheel drive, the electric convertible is only sold here in its most powerful – and best-equipped – guise.

This means a dual-motor, all-wheel drive powertrain capable of producing up to 375kW and 725Nm, enough to propel the Cyberster from 0-100km/h in a claimed time of 3.2 seconds.

It also features the largest battery pack available worldwide, with the 77 kWh unit delivering a driving range of up to 443 km during the WLTP test cycle.

Deliveries of the MG Cyberster are now starting in Australia.
