3 injured, 1 killed in recent unsolved hit-and-runs, Denver police say

Denver police are seeking information about vehicles involved in three hit-and-run crashes that seriously injured three people and killed a fourth between April and May.

The first crash happened at about 10:52 p.m. April 11 at Colfax Avenue and Kalamath Street, according to a Metro Denver Crime Stoppers bulletin released Friday.

A white or silver pickup truck was traveling west on Colfax when it rear-ended a vehicle stopped at the red light at Kalamath, severely injuring the driver.

The truck may have moderate or severe damage to the front end, police said.

A second hit-and-run happened at about 10:07 p.m. Thursday when a vehicle described as a dark-colored Toyota Tacoma with a camper shell struck two pedestrians crossing 33rd Avenue at Quivas Street, according to another bulletin.
