‘Vanderpump Rules’ Star James Kennedy Arrested For Domestic Violence

'Vanderpump Rules' Star James Kennedy Arrested For Domestic Violence

James Kennedy, a DJ and reality TV personality who rose to fame on Bravo’s “Vanderpump Rules,” was arrested in California Tuesday night for domestic violence, police confirmed Thursday.

The Burbank Police Department said officers were dispatched to a residence at around 11:30 p.m. to respond to an argument between a man and a woman. The call resulted in police arresting the reality TV star, whose full name is James Kennedy Georgiou.

“Mr. Georgiou was booked for misdemeanor domestic violence and later posted bail. Formal charges are pending review by the Burbank City Attorney’s office,” the department said in a statement to JS.

TMZ was first to break the news.

Representatives for Kennedy did not immediately return JS’s requests for comment.

The arrest was made the same night he and his girlfriend, Ally Lewber, a singer who’s also appeared on “Vanderpump Rules,” attended a party at the home of Kathy Hilton, another Bravo personality married into the Hilton Hotels empire.

Kennedy and Lewber have been dating since January 2022.

The incident comes a few weeks after Bravo announced it was rebooting “Vanderpump Rules” with an all-new cast. Kennedy had been a full-time cast member on the show since its fourth season, which premiered in 2015. In recent seasons of the show, Kennedy discussed his decision to start abstaining from alcohol.

His ex-girlfriend, Kristen Doute, who appeared on Seasons 1-8 of the show, shared the TMZ article on her Instagram story with the caption: “FINALLY.”
