Band Protocol has selected the router protocol as the first data tunnel provider for the upcoming Band V3 upgrade. The data tunnel is one of the three most important components of Band V3, which aims to broadcast the accumulated price data from Bandchain to other block chains and smart contract platforms. This mechanism improves cross-chain communication and enables developers to easily access real-time decentralized asset prices.
We are pleased to announce @Routerprotocol as the first data tunnel provider for band V3! This collaboration has been established to bring a revolution into the way in which price data flows over block chains and the web3 ecosystem.

The data tunnel uses the simultaneous price flow of Bandchain, making it possible to make a safe and cost -efficient transmission of price feeds. To offer cryptographic guarantees, the Data Tunnel uses the threshold signature scheme (TSS) that lowers the evidence and retains the security of the data relay. The function makes the spread of price foods over multiple ecosystems possible by using the integrating functionality of compatible protocols such as router.
Router Protocol’s Role in Band V3 Ecosystem
Router Protocol is the latest addition to the list of partners in the Band Protocol -Ecosystem and is a blockchain interoperability platform. Router is a cross-chain messenger service that has a deep integration with the Cosmos SDK and Cosmwasm. This interconnection makes the transition between Bandchain and the Router ecosystem possible through the implementation of the IBC protocol.
Router Protocol will receive the price fairs that are received from Bandchain and forward to other supported block chains via Router. Router therefore helps to manage safe and effective data transfer, while developers can receive reliable price data without additional integration problems. This partnership reflects the aim of Band Protocol to construct a decentralized data infrastructure for the Web3 community.
Consequences for developers and the Web3 environment
Band Protocol and Router Protocol Partnership is expected to benefit developers who build decentralized applications (DAPPs). Router now offers easy access to real -time price data that are aggregated from Band V3, which is crucial for Defi and other tokenized assets.
This partnership will also help to stimulate the integration of band Oracles on the Router block chains supported to promote the web3 -ecosystem. The recent introduction of Oracle functions in Band V2 will help developers to create safer and scalable Cross-Chain applications in the future when Band V3 is launched.
