With every release – including the latest Galaxy Z Flip 6 – Samsung continues to innovate about design, performance and functions.
While the expectation is building for the Galaxy Z Flip 7, here is everything we know so far about the potential release date, prices and specifications.
When is the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 released?
After the annual release schedule of Samsung, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is expected to be launched Mid-2025Most likely in July or August, previous Galaxy Z flip reveals.

Sammobile reports that Samsung has already protected trademarks for the Z Flip 7 name, which suggests that the phone is firmly on their route map.
This release is likely to be part of Samsung’s most important annual summer (at least in the northern hemisphere, at least) elected event, where they usually reveal the latest models in their flag shiplines, including the Z Flip and Z Fold series.
How much does the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 cost?
According to Android headlines, the prices of the Z Flip 7 “will remain the same” as the Z Flip 6, at least in the US.
That means a starting price of $ 1,099, although it is not clear whether the £ 1,049 British price will change.
As usual, there are different expensive configurations.

There are also rumors about a more affordable model, the Galaxy Z Flip Fe (Fan Edition), with a slightly weaker performance, in the pursuit of a budget -friendly price point.
What specifications and functions does the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 have?
Design
According to Ked Global, the head of the mobile division of Samsung Ingenieurs ordered a foldable phone to make a folding phone as slim as the Galaxy S series, aimed at a thickness of almost 8.4 mm when closed.
However, it does not seem that that device will be the Galaxy Z Flip 7. Android heads suggest that the phone is 6.9 mm thick (minus the camera culture) when opened, the same as the Z Flip 6.

The foldable Clamshell design probably remains a characteristic of the Galaxy Z Flip series, but rumors indicate potential sustainability improvements in the hinge mechanism, making the phone more robust.

According to Sammobile, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 foled (phosphorescent OLED) could introduce technology, for reduced power consumption, thanks to better luminous efficiency compared to the Amoled displays that are currently being used.

However, challenges in the development of blue Pholed materials can postpone their complete integration into the folding line -up of Samsung next year.
According to Android heads, both the cover and the inside -scenting displays will be slightly larger at 3.6 inches and 6.7 inches respectively. However, that cover screen would still be smaller than the 4-inch version on the Razr 50 Ultra.
In an X -post, Leaker Pandaflash also suggests that the fold of Z Flip 7 “will be a little less striking” than the Z Fold 7, although it is not clear how it will change compared to the Z Flip 6.
Performance
The Galaxy Z Flip 7 can be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which offers faster performance, improved AI options and better energy efficiency compared to the 8 gene 3 in the Flip 6.
According to an industry -insider Jukanlosreve and Korean News Outlet The Elec, the phone will, however, contain the not -produced Exynos 2500 processor. This rumor is supported by comments from a “high -ranking Samsung Electronics Official.”

This decision, if true, seems to adapt to reports that the Galaxy S25 series will rely on the Snapdragon 8-Elite, which suggests that Samsung may be able to reserve its top-tier Exynos chipset for folding devices.
Whichever chipset you will find in the Galaxy Z Flip 7, it is probably linked to 12 GB RAM and 256 GB, 512 GB or 1 TB storage.
Cameras
One of the most exciting rumors around the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is the potential addition of a third camera on the back; Possibly a telephoto lens (via Sammobile and Galaxyclub).
This would be an important upgrade, because so far the Z -Flip series has only absorbed wide and ultrawide cameras on its back. Android -Koppen, however, only reports that the 50MP Main and 12MP Ultrawide will return, without mentioning a telephone.

A telephoto lens would make a higher fidelity zoom possible without losing a sculpture, catering for users who want portrait and zom options at a professional level.
The primary camera has already seen a bump from the 12MP to a 50MP sensor with the launch of the Z-Flip 6, which improves the overall image quality and the performance with little light. As such, we only expect incremental improvement on that front.
Battery and charging
The foldable phones from Samsung have gradually improved in terms of battery capacity, and the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will probably have the same 4000 mAh battery as the Z Flip 6, coupled with 25W quickly charging.

With the potential integration of the aforementioned foled technology, the total power consumption could decrease, which means that the battery can last longer on one load, despite the compact form factor of the phone.
Software
By the time the Z Flip 7 is launched, it will probably be performed on Android 15, dressed with Samsung’s One onion 7.
Leaking suggest that one onion 7 will be a huge overhaul compared to previous versions. Expect a redesigned user interface with new icons, animations and improved multitasking options, tailored to folding devices.
