Chicago – A judge of the Cook County has rejected a persecution request to hold a man who is accused of dragging his dog by dragging his belt from a fast -moving car because he was angry that it didn’t listen to him.

The Chicago police arrested last Sunday, almost seven months after he reportedly dragged his dog out of his car window in the 700 block of West 48th place. In an arrest report, the police said that May ‘acknowledged’ that he dragged his dog through his window of his car window on August 18 because he was walking late at work and did not listen to the dog.
Chicago Animal Care and Control treated the dog, which sustained life-threatening injuries, according to the State detention.
Public Prosecutors accused May of crime animal abuse, crime animal abuse and crime failing to perform tasks from the animal ownership.
This is the first time that May, according to the court reports, is accused of a crime in Cook County.

CWBCHICAGO was founded in 2013 by five residents of Wigleyville and Boystown who had been discouraged with inaccurate information that was provided during meetings of the local community policing (CAPS). Our coverage area has since been expanded to cover Lincoln Park, River North, De Loop, Uptown and other North Side areas. But our mission remains unchanged: to provide original reporting of public safety with a better context and more detail than regular media. Our editorial e -mail address is news@cwbchicago.com
