Chicago – A judge thrown a man in prison and called him a threat to the police after he reportedly confronted the public prosecutor with his domestic violence with a belt in a courtroom.

“You are the B *** H -officer,” Devin White said as he kept his belt in his hand. “Do you want to go?”

He followed the wife of the elevator of the elevator at the 555 West Harrison Courthouse until she jumped into a safe room and called for help, according to the court applications. Even then the 36-year-old white continued to scream against the woman.

Data shows that he was in the courthouse that day for a routine hearing in a case accusing him of child in danger. The incident is said to have happened on February 19, but White was only recently accused of crime counts of threatening an official and intimidation.

Judge Luciano Panici, Jr. has submitted a petition to keep white in prison on the new charges and said that he “made threats for the person who is in control of his own criminal prosecution”.

Panici noted that White has a “substantial criminal history of a violent nature and clearly does not take authority or law enforcement into account” and a threat was for public prosecutors and the police.

CWBCHICAGO reported in July 2020 about one of the previous meetings by White with the legal system, a theft and kidnapping case from Lakeview.

CWBCHICAGO was founded in 2013 by five residents of Wigleyville and Boystown who had been discouraged with inaccurate information that was provided during meetings of the local community policing (CAPS). Our coverage area has since been expanded to cover Lincoln Park, River North, De Loop, Uptown and other North Side areas.
