You’ve undoubtedly heard a lot about “Freak Offs” after P. Diddy’s arrest. But what is a freak-off?
According to the 14-page federal indictment, these “freak-offs” were staged by Combs and his associates in hotel suites filled with baby oil, drugs and video equipment. Prosecutors allege that the participants were coerced, with some requiring intravenous fluids to recover from the multi-day ordeal. The government claims that Combs filmed the sessions and used the footage to silence the participants.
Basically, a freak-off is an orgy that can last for days in some cases.
That is an orgy by definition a wild or drunken party or revelry, especially if there is sex with multiple participants. Think of an orgy as a wild and crazy sex party.
So I sat down with someone who has made a career out of doing wild and crazy sex acts – the one and only Audrey Hollander.

Freak-off parties are nothing like the group sex or orgies we do in porn, for many reasons. The first of which is that in porn we are all there because we want to be, and no one needs IV fluids while filming an orgy in porn. And I’ve been on sets that lasted 16 to 18 hours. To be fair, some of those sets were full-fledged cray cray at the time.
We also don’t use baby oil as a lubricant in porn, as oil-based lubricants are associated with an increased risk of yeast infections. As professionals we have to take this into account. I prefer water-based lubes because they are good for sensitive skin; as a ginger that is a problem for me.
The key to a great orgy is making sure everyone is happy and healthy, and that means lots of water and fasting.
For a good sex scene you have to give your body, mind and soul. You have to be there physically and mentally. They probably used IVs because there were a lot of drugs at the party.
You don’t have that on professional film sets. As professionals, we prepare our bodies before filming an orgy, and that is not the destiny in our hearts. It’s a lot of work. We eat well and know that we need to take care of our bodies before we even go on set. It’s quite a process.
But if you want to try it yourself, remember that a good orgy requires planning.
Start by making a list of everyone you want at the orgy. Then send them an email consent checklist. This is a document that discusses all the things you are and are not open to. Once you get the completed form from everyone who will be attending the orgy, compare them and see what hard lines you want to cross to make sure everyone feels comfortable.
You also ensure that everyone knows the safe word. In an orgy you want to assign the same word. A safe word should be something that would not come up in a normal conversation. It could be something like Pineapple or WrestleMania.
Before the event, make sure everyone knows what the safe word is and that if the word is used, it is a hard stop.
Then make sure everyone is tested. You want to be sure that everyone is STD-free. If you have never taken an STD test, you will want to make sure that you and everyone attending the orgy are tested for HIV, chlamydia, gonorrhea, trichomonas, and syphilis.
