A six -time convicted criminal doubled his crime conviction in total to 12 on Monday by guilty of committing six robberies and burglaries on the northwest side of the city, mainly in restaurants, at the end of 2023.

Christopher “Lucky D” Buehler, 43, received six simultaneous 9-year penalties from judge Timothy Joyce in exchange for his culprit. At the time of his last crimes, he was conditional release for theft for crimes.

The Chicago police saw Buehler wear a crowbar while he walked in Portage Park in the afternoon of December 29, 2023. Recognizing him as a ‘well -known burglar’, the officers decided to keep an eye on him and see what he did, said a CPD report.

What he did, according to the report, was the stealing of electrical tools from a garage in the 5300 block of West Nelson while the police watched. He then ran the police moved in, but they caught him in the neighborhood.

Buehler “then implied as the perpetrator in seven different armed robberies,” the report said.

The robberies started with the mountain of a man in the 3900 block of West Cornelia around 6.17 pm on December 1, 2023. That was followed by robberies of the restaurant of Eathai, 2901 North Kedzie, on December 9; Dunkin, 4851 West Belmont, on December 10; Lexi Liquors, 6922 West Grand, on December 19; And Halal Inn, 4624 West Lawrence, the same day.

Buehler earned 641 days of credit during the prison awaiting the trial. In combination with the standard of the state of 50% sentence reduction of the state, it will probably be released at the beginning of 2028.
