Google is working on placing Gemini centrally in the software bid, which means that the AI tool brings much more devices outside smartphones.
Gemini is of course already accessible via your phone. Especially on Android it is generally only a button gone.
Now Google has announced that the Gemini brings to a set of wearables, cars, SMART TVs and mixed reality heads sets.
Gemini on Wear Os and Android Auto
As all the rumor, Gemini comes to wear OS -Smartwatches in a large way.
You can talk naturally and let your watch understand what you are trying to get, or that is a reminder or a question about a restaurant that your friend has emailed you about. No phone requires.
A similar level of intuitiveness comes to Android Auto, to replace Google Assistant with the contextual conscious AI tool of the company.
Google promises that Gemini on Android Auto will reduce the need to tap buttons on the screen or to think of the perfect directional prompt. You can just talk to your car with natural language, and Gemini will guide you on your way.
It should be able to tackle more difficult requests in the bargain, such as requesting a charging station on the way to a post office that is also near a park. It will also be able to summarize your messages, translate your answers into another language, to give you an overview of the news and more.
Google says that Gemini will be wearing OS and Android Auto in the coming months, and wearing OS also gets the material 3 expressive design.
Gemini on your TV and headset
That is not all that Google has to announce on the Gemini front. The AI assistant of the company also comes to a Google TV in your area.
With the help of Gemini you can ask your TV for recommendations for age -suitable action films (to use Google’s own example). It will also answer general knowledge questions and even raise suitable YouTube videos to help you learn more about the subject.
Finally, Google Gemini brings with his Gemini with Android XR platform, which is made in collaboration with Samsung.
A whole series of mixed reality heads and glasses can help you with travel routes, “around you with videos, cards and local tips”.
Google is holding its large Google I/O 2025 event on 20 May, where we expect to hear much more about the plans for Gemini. We also have to take a look at Android 16 and Google’s Bold New Material 3 Expressive Design Language.
Whatever software update Google announces, you can bet that your lower dollar has Gemini Ai in the center.
