A woman on the nearby west side killed her 2 -month -old son by throwing him in their apartment floor, claiming officials in newly submitted judicial documents claim.
Lauryn Shakespeare, 25, called on the police to her apartment in the 100 block of North Ashland around 8.15 am on 2 June, said a Chicago police report. She told First Responders that Loyal had slept with her and that she woke up not to respond, according to the report.
The fire brigade took loyal to the Stroger Hospital, where he died about an hour later.
The police noted in their report that Shakespeare has provided “inconsistent statements” on the spot. She was admitted to the hospital for a non -known state on Friday and, according to the court reports, could not be able to attend her detention in the Leighton criminal court.
