2026 Toyota Landcruiser 300 Hybrid: everything we know

The first Toyota Landcruiser 300 Series Hybrid was confirmed for Australian showrooms in 2026, officially confirmed with few details.

However, the Japanese Automaker has opened orders for the ‘Land Cruiser Hybrid’ in the United Arab Emirates (VAE) and sells all the corresponding Lexus LX700H in the VAE and the US.

Toyota offers two Landcruiser Hybrid model figures in the VAE, with an entry level GR Sport with 18-inch wheels, thick front and rear bumpers and black details.

The higher spec VXR gets hybrid unique bumpers, chrome decorations and 20-inch wheels comparable to those of the Australian market Sahara Zx.

Cabinage material includes standard leather seats on both model figures, as well as Walnut-Applique, four-zone climate control and 12.3-inch center Touchscreen-de GR Sport also gets its own steering wheel design.

The mechanical specification of the Landcruiser Hybrid is expected to be transferred to Australian versions that are largely unchanged, which means that a 341 kW/790 Nm 3.5-liter V6 V6 Twin-Turbo-sitting engine outputs to the LX700H and the Vae-Specruier-montet

There is a full -time four -wheel drive with a low access transfer, where a hybrid operating system manages the switch between gasoline and electrical power.

Being a parallel hybrid system means that Landcruiser Hybrid can use the gasoline engine or the electric motor to drive the wheels. According to the overseas specifications, there are front, central and rear electronic differential locks, with a Torsen Limited-Slip Diff (LSD) mounted on the LX700H F Sport Grade that is sold in the US.

The Hybrid Off-Roaders also use a unique, thinner front cross member designed to maintain off-road soil freedom, while the spare wheel has been moved to have the nickel-metal hydride (NMH) battery installed on the rear floor.

The automatic transmission with 10 gears is somewhat watertight to protect the electric motor, with a maximum of 700 mm of water wads. The robust Lexus LX transition is equipped with 33-inch All-Terrain tires.

Combined fuel consumption of 10.9 km/l (9.17l/100 km) For the model of the VAE market translates into more than 1000 km touring range in the Landcruiser VXR quality with the larger fuel tank of 98L. The Midden-Eastern spec GR Sport does it with a much smaller 68l tank.

The same performance statistics also apply to the line-up, with a claim of 0-100 km/h of 6.4 seconds and a baked towing capacity of 3629 kg. In Australia, the Diesel-driven Landcruiser 300 series is assessed to drag 3.5 tons.

American specifications give the 3.5-liter V6-hybrid system in the Lexus LX700H about 181 kg about the equivalent LX600 Die has a non-hybrid version of the same Twin-Turbo V6 petrol engine.

This is where the Landcruiser 300 Hybrid and Lexus can vary, given their different equipment levels and their impact on the total weight – which in turn could influence dragging, fuel consumption and natural touring range.

The Landcruiser Hybrid starts from the VAE $ 389,900 (A $ 164.114) in the VAE, while the standard Landcruiser with gasoline at $ UAE238,900 ($ 100,556) starts.

In the meantime, the line-up of Australian 300 Series starts at $ 97,990 Plus on-road costs for the GX entry, with the flagship Sahara ZX wearing a sticker of $ 146,910 Plus on-road.
