- The last event was in January for Galaxy S25 -Phones
- The next event is expected in July, possibly on the 13th
- Hogerallijk to launch new Galaxy Z-fold, Z Flip and Galaxy Watch devices
Samsung, unpacked launch events, are a major problem that entails many Galaxy-related news, and more importantly, new devices from phones to tablets to smartwatches.
It has been a while since the last unpacked event in January for the Galaxy S25 series, but that means that another will probably happen in the near future.
This is what we know about the next Samsung Packed 2025 launch event, including a possible date and what we expect to see (and not to see) launch.
When is the next Samsung unpacked launch event?
It is generally expected that Samsung will hold the following unpacked event in July, with both ‘Early’ and ‘Mid’ July and possible windows.
Another detail in general has been agreed that the opportunity will take place in New York.
We can even have a specific date that is July 13. This is when Samsung has a selection of Galaxy Health events that takes place in New York City, which can just be a coincidence.
Nevertheless, July seems almost certain because in July 2024 there was an unpacked event that took place in Paris for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and other devices.
Samsung has not yet officially announced the date, so we will update this as soon as we hear it from the horse’s mouth.
Here is when Samsung normally has unpacked events:
- January: For Galaxy’s flagship telephones
- July: For Galaxy Z -Foons and Galaxy View Smartwatches
- September: For tablets from Galaxy Tab
What is Samsung going from the next one?
Fans will be happy to hear that it will be a bumperancing event for new Galaxy phones and smartwatches.
Countless rumors suggest that Samsung will launch a number of gadgets on the unpacked July, perhaps six or even more.
Galaxy Z Fold 7
Luke Baker
The headline device at Uppacked will almost certainly be the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Samsung’s new folding phone in book style.
It naturally follows the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and is set for improvements in mainly AI, cameras and the cover screen.
Confusing, Samsung plagued the device with the ‘ultra’ branding on the Galaxy S25 Ultra, but it is now thought that Samsung will not use this in the model name.
Galaxy Z Flip 7/Flip Fe

Two new Z-Flip phones have been expected, with the latest Samsung to offer for folding things in Clamshell style.
The Galaxy Flip 7 is the flagship model set with larger screens inside and out, while the Flip FE is the first ‘fan edition’ from Samsung and probably offers a similar set of specifications and functions if the Galaxy Z Flip 6 at a cheaper price than the Flip 7.
Galaxy Watch 8 series

New flagship Wearables In the summer is a common theme for Samsung and two Galaxy Watch 8 models are expected.
The regular Galaxy Watch 8 and the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, the first classic model since the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, because Samsung likes to refresh this on a two -year cycle.
Both are expected to be ‘squircle’ design language inspired by the original Galaxy Watch Ultra.
Galaxy Watch Ultra 2

Mike Sawh
This leads us nicely to the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, or possibly the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2025 as Samsung decides to use the year.
It was thought that Samsung might wait longer than a year to renew this smartwatch, but it seems likely that it will appear in July.
Rumors have been refurbished, including a leaked image of the device. However, if it is true, it looks exactly like the Galaxy Watch Ultra, but in a blue dyes, so Samsung better has less obvious upgrades somewhere.

Android -Koppen
One onion 8 and Project Moohan
If Samsung is adjusting to compress something else, we would certainly expect it to be on one onion 8, the next main version of the Samsung operating system that will be rolled out to phones, tablet and wearables as a free upgrade. It is currently in a beta form.
There is also Project Moohan, the Android XR headset from Samsung, which the company might have more news about, after he showed it in 2025.
What we don’t expect to see at the next unpacked
Although a lot comes out, there are a few devices for which you should not keep your breath (although never say never).
Firstly, the Galaxy Tab S11 series tablets is unlikely. Samsung launched them in July, but moved the launch to September for the Galaxy Tab S10 series. We would expect this to take place in 2025.
We also do not expect new Galaxy A -telephones. The Galaxy A56, A36 and A26 are already on the market and the Galaxy A17 – the cheapest of the party – will probably arrive in October, away from an unpacked.

For the portable front we are still waiting for a successor to the Galaxy Ring, the popular smart ring from Samsung. It was originally announced in January 2024 and then fully launched in July of the same year.
It is a new model that goes through a refreshing cycle of 12 months, but it is a first generation device, so we don’t know how often Samsung is planning to replace it, plus there is a lack of rumors in 2025.
This, and a well -trained gambling/gut feeling, placed it in the ‘coming’ stack. Samsung, however, likes a good teaser, so we could hear something about the Galaxy Ring 2, even if it’s just a piece. After all, the original Galaxy Ring surprised us all.
How to see Samsung Livestream turn out
When unpacks, you can view the live stream from just about every device.
Samsung usually streams it for free on YouTube and its own website. We will add all the details and the video ourselves when it is available.
