Boy, 13, stabbed in the back outside New York school during broad daylight fight

A 13-year-old boy was stabbed in the back Thursday during a broad daylight fight with a teenage rival just blocks from his school in Brooklyn, according to sources and police.

The violence broke out when the two began arguing on the block of the Eagle Academy for Young Men on Ocean Hill at Roosevelt Place and Atlantic Avenue in Brownsville around 3:45 p.m., police said.

His 13-year-old attacker then cut him in the lower back before fleeing the scene, the sources said.

The victim, who attends Eagle Academy, collapsed on the ground, sources told The Post.

He was taken by EMTs to Brookdale University Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

The teenage stabber has not yet been arrested on Thursday evening.

The investigation is ongoing.
