A motorcycle-riding and armed duo swindled more than $25,000 worth of jewelry in a series of violent crimes in the Bronx last month, police said.
Footage released by the NYPD late Thursday shows the two masked suspects — who are accused of six robberies between Oct. 8 and Oct. 22 — jumping onto a single motorcycle with green rims and driving away.
The pair first approached a 54-year-old man on Grand Concourse near Rockwood Street on Oct. 8 around 2 p.m. and punched him repeatedly in the head and face, police said.
They then took two necklaces and a bracelet worth a total of $6,350, police said.
Then, around 11:15 a.m. on Oct. 18, the duo allegedly drove up to a 38-year-old man on Randall Avenue near Tiffany Street and flashed a gun, police said.
One of the suspects pistol-whipped the victim before grabbing his necklace and rings, worth about $6,600, authorities said.
About 15 minutes later, the motorcyclists targeted a 31-year-old man on River Avenue near East 165th Street — about a block from Yankee Stadium, police said.
They pulled a gun on the victim before snatching his necklace, which authorities said was worth about $3,300.
Another 15 minutes passed before the robbers attacked a 48-year-old man on Williamsbridge Road near Lydig Avenue — hitting him in the head with a gun and robbing him of his $3,000 necklace, police said.
The pair targeted their youngest victim, a 17-year-old boy, around 11 a.m. on Oct. 22, authorities said.
They drove to the teen on East 167th Street near Gerard Avenue, where one of them pulled out a gun and stole two necklaces, worth a total of about $2,500, police said.
The teen fought back, prompting the robber to fire one shot from his gun — but the victim was not hit, authorities said.
Around 12:20 a.m. that same day, the pair rolled up to their latest victim, a 36-year-old man, on Summit Avenue near West 165th Street, police said.
They ripped off the victim’s necklace and bracelet, worth about $4,000, police said.
The suspects took a total of $25,750 in jewelry in all six robberies, police said.
No arrests had been made as of Friday.
