Beatdown with a piece of bread.
A pan-wielding Panera Bread employee repeatedly punched a crazed customer in the head as he began attacking employees and customers during a violent outburst at the fast-casual restaurant in Colorado.
The suspect, identified by Glendale police as Isaac Ross, began wreaking havoc at a Panera Bread in Glendale — five miles outside Denver — on Tuesday, according to KDVR.
Video captured by frightened customer Natalie Wiersma showed the suspect screaming like a maniac, throwing items off the counter at restaurant staff and demanding the employees give the phone back.
“The suspect shouted at the workers, and they all looked very confused and said, ‘We don’t have your phone,’” Wiersma told the newspaper.
Customers tried to beg Ross to stop and leave, but it apparently made him even more furious.
Ross is heard shouting a racial slur in a restaurant before continuing to unleash his tantrum in front of other customers.
“No one has your phone!” a customer yells at Ross as he continues his menacing antics.
The suspect is then seen walking to the front of the counter, where he throws more items at the staff.
Seconds later, a customer rushes up behind Ross and tries to push him away, but Ross quickly turns around and knocks the Good Samaritan to the ground.
Ross lunges forward at the defenseless man, waving his arms in attack.
He punches the man before another customer comes and wrestles him to the ground.
“The next man then saved that man from further attacks and did his best to stop them,” Wiersma told the outlet.
A Panera Bread employee shows up with a long loaf pan and hits Ross in the head five times while another customer tries to restrain him.
“My personal hero,” says Wiersma. “I think that was very effective.”
Someone shouts, “Call the police,” as the suspect and fearless customer continue to struggle on the ground before the video ends.
Glendale police told the outlet that Ross fled shortly after the altercation.
However, they shared that he later returned to the same Panera and had another violent outburst.
Ross allegedly attacked an endangered male victim, law enforcement said of the second disturbance.
The victim required treatment for minor injuries.
Police are asking the public to come forward with any information that could lead to Ross’ whereabouts.
The Post has contacted Glendale and Panera police for comment.
