The Ishtar collective works to support sex workers to have a ‘Seat at the table’ and be respected members of the communities They live. Along with Other Sex Worker and Survivor-LED Organizations, The Ishtar Collective Has Hosted Healthcare Professionals, Lifelong Learners, Graduate Students, Social Service Workers, Service Industry Professionals, Local LGBTQ+ Members, Survivors of Violence, and Allesce. The organization also has a common garden and ‘food justice program’, so that those in need can not only put food on the table, but also learn the values of land management.
