(Montreal, QC / September 25, 2024) — On September 25, Adult Time presents the highly anticipated feature film Birtha psychological thriller that delves into the intense emotional complexities of pregnancy and infidelity, and the complicated dynamics that unravel when the desire to start a family collides with secrets and betrayal.
The new film highlights the first original feature film written and directed by Bree Mills since the award-winning filmmaker’s 2019 smash hits Perspective And Teen lesbianand stars Adult Time ambassadors Casey Calvert, Seth Gamble, Leana Lovings and Tommy Pistol.
Calvert and Gamble play married couple Laura and Matthew, who decide to seek help from fertility specialist Doctor Bill (Daniel Shar). When Laura finally becomes pregnant, her journey to motherhood is riddled with severe morning sickness and disturbing dreams.
A doula (Leana Lovings) is hired to help Laura, but soon her bond with Matthew becomes uncomfortably close, and Laura becomes increasingly disconnected as her dreams evolve into vivid, disturbing fantasies involving three strangers (Tommy Pistol, Robby Apples and Codey Steele). , while Doctor Bill observes and takes notes. Trapped in the chaos of her mind, Laura begins to wonder if her dream of starting a family is turning into a nightmare.
