Directed by Fede Álvarez, Alien: Romulus is a fresh start for the franchise.
Cailee Spaeny, who you may remember from Priscilla and Civil War, plays the lead role in the film. Her character, Rain Carradine, must fight to the death against a mysterious predator along with the rest of the spaceship crew.

When will Alien: Romulus be released on VOD?
In the US, the latest installment of the Alien film series debuts on Prime Video and other VOD services Tuesday October 15, 2024.
For now, it’s unknown when the film will debut digitally in the UK.
When can Alien: Romulus be released on streaming services?
Like a 20th century studio film, the new Alien movie will be released on Hulu in the US Disney+ in Great Britain.
Considering the new Alien is a success, it could hit Hulu and Disney a month after its digital release, just like Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes did. Based on that, we estimate that Alien: Romulus will likely release on Hulu and Disney around this time mid-November 2024.
Accounts on Hulu start from $7.99 per month for an ad-supported version. The basic Disney+ subscription with ads costs £7.99 per month.
