The American Land Title Association (Alta) has announced three internal promotions as part of a broader effort to strengthen leadership and advocacy in the title insurance sector.
Elizabeth Blosser has been named Chief Strategy, Communications and Innovation Officer. She used to serve as Vice President of Government Affairs of Alta for the State of Representation and will now Leiden the strategic initiatives and messages from the Association.
Emily Tryon – who previously served as Vice President of Government Affairs for Federal Advocacy – has been promoted to Chief Advocacy Officer. She will supervise the legislative and regulatory agenda of Alta at all levels of government.
Kevin Cameron discusses the role of vice president and head of federal government matters. He was most recently senior director of the federal government matters and will now guide the efforts of Alta on Capitol Hill and with the executive, together with leading the grassroots and political engagement work.
“These changes mark a milestone in the growth of the association and strengthen our continuous dedication to deliver value to our members through strategic leadership for thoughts, proactive advocacy and innovative initiatives,” said CEO of Alta Morton in a statement.
“Elizabeth Blosser, Emily Tryon and Kevin Cameron are finished, trusted leaders who bring unparalleled expertise and passion for our work.”
Morton was named CEO earlier this month after the departure of Diane Tomb, who filled the chair for six years.
Alta President Richard Welshons said that the board supports the new promotions.
“The Alta Board of Governors is pleased to see these promotions,” he said. “They will position Alta to continue to deliver a strong advocacy on behalf of its members, while supporting innovation in an evolving real estate landscape.”
