Amazon already held its big Prime Day sale in July, but the retail giant is coming back in October for a new round of exclusive Prime deals.
There will be a two-day event known as ‘Amazon Prime Big Deal Days’ October 8 and 9, 2024and Amazon says it will “offer Prime members big savings on a wide selection of products in the run-up to Christmas.”
LG, Sony, Bose, Shark and Tefal have all been specifically mentioned, but in total there will be “hundreds of thousands” of deals.
However, to access it, you must be a Prime member. This usually costs £8.99/$14.99 per month or £95/$139 per year, but you can get a 30-day free trial in the UK or US if you haven’t signed up before. It means you essentially get free access to all the exclusive deals.

You’ll still find discounted products on Amazon that are available to everyone, but the best deals are those in the Prime sale for members.

What time does the Amazon Prime Day sale end?
The Prime Day discounts are available until 11:59 PM on July 17. Despite being called Prime Day, the event lasts 48 hours.
If the available offers aren’t quite what you’re looking for, don’t worry. Other sales will undoubtedly take place during the summer at competing retailers such as Curries in Great Britain and BestBuy in the US.
Before we know it, Black Friday will be back and will take place on Friday, November 22, 2024, with Cyber Monday following on Monday, November 25, 2024. Both offer many more discounts, and not just from Amazon.
