Appfolio improves AI Property Management Tools

Kyle Triplett, Senior Vice President of Appfolio, said that the addition of RealM-X artists is intended to close a long-term gap between task-based software and real operational efficiency.

“The introduction of RealM-X artists is a transforming shift,” said Triplett. “These new AI agents improve the productivity and performance games that our customers have already experienced with RealM-X. By making more proactive actions possible, we help our customers further than traditionally task-based real estate management and we focus on delivering results.”

The update follows data from the company 2025 Benchmark reportwho identified the occupancy rate as the highest care for real estate managers. Appfolio said that traditional tools have limited the industry by concentrating on tasks instead of results.

The new technical tool is intended to tackle that. The REALM-X Leasing executor automates tasks with regard to the acquisition of tenants-inclusive responding to questions, managing contacts, planning real estate trips and the emergence of important information to real estate managers.

The RealM-X Maintenance Performer analyzes maintenance requests, identifies problems using image recognition, makes work orders and logs reports all without human input.

These functions are embedded in realm-X flows, the automation engine from Appfolio, the company of which said it has improved the conversion rates of lead-to-showing for users by 73%.

The company also reports that RealM-X helped to save customers on average 10 hours a week on administrative tasks and 26 seconds per message when using EMM-X messages, the AI-driven communication tool.

These developments coincide with a redesigned interface called FoliSpace and new services that have been made possible by the partnership of Appfolio with Second natureNow part of the Appfolio Stack Partner Ecosystem.
