By Nobuhito Nishigawara‘s gilded drops Andres Anza‘s spiky shapes that seem ready to fly away at any moment, an eclectic series of works can be seen this month Ceramics Brussels.
For the second year, the annual meeting is the only international art fair completely dedicated to the medium. The 2025 edition will showcase work from more than 200 artists around the world, with a particular focus on contemporary Norwegian makers.
The fair covers a wide range of aesthetics and processes and presents a wide variety of approaches and a kind of state of the medium. Some artists, like Eirik Falcknerpush the boundaries of ceramic art even further by working with bees to place thick chunks of honeycomb on a rough fixture.
Below are some of the works that will be exhibited at the fair, which runs from January 23 to 26.
