CHICAGO – Two men are recovering after being stabbed in River North Friday evening. Their attacker remains at large.
According to a witness, the incident began when a man emerged from a white sedan around 10:15 p.m. and the two victims became involved in an argument in the 400 block of North State.
During the argument, the attacker pulled out a knife and stabbed both men, ages 41 and 43, multiple times, a Chicago police spokesman said. Their condition stabilized at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
After the stabbing, the perpetrator returned to the white car and drove south onto State Street. Police have not released a description of the attacker.
