The latest film from the John Wick Universe has just hit the cinema – Ballerina, directed by Len Wiseman, is ready to spread chaos in cinemas worldwide.
The film is led by none other than Ana de Armas, whose breakthrough role was in knives, and who made a memorable appearance as an agent Paloma in the James Bond film, no time to die. In Ballerina, the Armas shines like Eve Macarro, who joined the notorious Ruska Roma School of Assassins as a child. After years of training, she sets off to avenge her father’s death.
In addition to Ana de Armas, the film contains stars such as Anjelica Huston, Lance Reddick, Norman Reedus, Ian McShane and Gabriel Byrne. Fans can also count on performances by Keanu Reeves, who again portrays John Wick Wick (because Ballerina takes place between the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum and Chapter 4, Baba Yaga is still safe and healthy).

When is ballerina released on rag?
Lionsgate, which distributes Ballerina, has not announced when the film will appear on digital platforms. However, we will try to predict the release date based on earlier films launched by the studio.
John Wick: Chapter 4, one of Lionsgate’s Smash -Hits, arrived 61 days after the cinematic debut on Vod. The relatively successful The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, however, premiered only 32 days after opening.
If ballerina acts well at the cash register, it can be released on services such as Amazon Prime video somewhere in between Tuesday, July 8, 2025 and Tuesday 5 August 2025.
The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare and Borderlands, who performed behind it at the cash register, fell 3 weeks after their release in the cinemas on VOD. Therefore, as Ballerina Flops, it can arrive at VOD at the end of June 2025.
Note that these dates are predictions and we are still waiting for the studio to announce when the film will debut on digital services.

When is ballerina released on DVD/Blu-ray?
Physical copies of John Wick: Chapter 4 were available in stores only 21 days after release. The less successful film, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, lasted 56 days to get there.
Flops such as the Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare arrived 46 days after VOD release on DVD and Blu-ray, while Borderlansd did this after 53 days.
That is why Ballerina can fall on DVD and Blu-ray Between Tuesday July 29, 2025 and Tuesday 30 September 2025.
When can Ballerina be released on streaming services?
In the US, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, Starz met three months after arrival on DVD and Blu-ray. John Wick: Chapter 4 appeared on streaming three and a half months after physical copies appeared in stores.
The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare dropped only a month after the DVD and Blu-ray debut on Starz on Starz, while Borderlands was available for streaming two months after copies of retailers had hit.
That is why we estimate that if Ballerina is a hit, it will arrive at Starz In early winter 2025. However, if the film bombardes, Lionsgate can probably launch it earlier at streaming, probably In late autumn 2025.
In the UK, the film will most likely arrive at Netflix – but it is hard to say when that can happen. Stay informed for more news about that subject.
