Blockticity Launches L1 on Avalanche to Authenticate $1.2B+

Blockticity, a platform with blockchain and AI to secure trade documents, has launched an adapted Avalanche-Laag-1 blockchain network using Avacloud. As part of the transition, the company has minted 45,000 existing certificates of authenticity (COAS) of the Avalanche C chain and 700,000 new COAs on its new minst. Together these documents represent more than $ 1.2 billion in verified goods.

The move comes in the midst of increasing the attention of the legal for the world trade of American customs and international authorities. The digital COAs of Blockticity include metadata and verification functions, replacing traditional PDF certificates through formats that support automation and auditability.

The COAs are built to comply with ASTM Blockchain Standards (D8558) and meet the documentation requirements set by regulatory authorities such as the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the default scheme of the European Union (EUD). The platform is designed to support cross-border compliance via Sabotage-Evidense Records.

The transition from Blockticity to a special avalanche layer 1 network offers benefits such as validator-based security, predictable gas costs and stablecoin compatibility. These functions are intended to support the approval of Enterprise-Scale of blockchain-based trade documentation with reduced operational complexity and faster transaction scheme.
