Brian Laundrie’s sister says she has no contact with her parents after they have put researchers about the residence of Gabby Petito and her brother.
Cassie Laundrie expressed her Instagram after she started receiving hate after the new docuseries ‘American Murder: Gabby Petito’, who explains accusations that Christopher and Roberta Laundrie Stonewalled researchers and refused to help them find Petito after being missed, was missing on September 11, 2021.
“If you are new here and start to attack today, I have not been in contact with my parents for almost two years,” Cassie Laundrie wrote on her page.
“Have fun,” she added.
Cassie Laundrie also denied that he told the police that Brian Gabby was left in a Wyoming Hotel before he drove back to Florida without her, refuting claims in the docuseries by Suffolk County Detective Tracey Barry.
“Nobody from a family contacted me until detective Barry me called me,” Cassie wrote on her page.
“Det. Barry was seriously miscommunicated what I told her in the phone.”
Brian Laundrie and Gabby Petito spent the summer of 2021 over the Western United States in a white van, Documentation of their adventures on YouTube. On September 1, Laundrie quietly – alone – returned to the North Port of his parents, Florida, at home.
Ten days later, Petito’s family reported the native Long Island -missing after they had tried it and failed to get information from the Laundrie family.
Petito’s body was discovered in Grand Teton National Park on September 19. She was strangled by Laundrie, who had been offended to her.
Days after Petito’s body was discovered, the American court of Wyoming issued an order for the arrest of Laundrie. His parents refused to collaborate with authorities or to provide information about the place of residence of their son.
According to Bodycam images, they refused to answer all the questions of the police and gave vague and useless answers.
A month later, the remains of Laundrie were discovered in a nature park in Florida next to his backpack and notebook. He had committed suicide and left a confession to kill Petito.
Although Cassie Laundrie says she knew nothing about Petito’s place of residence, not everyone is sympathetic to her. More than 2,400 people have responded to her message, most of them critical.
“Girl, a quick look at your account shows that you never, not once for Gabby,” wrote a user. “You and your people deserve all the recoil and karma you get for the full lack of grace that you showed that the family of that poor girl during one of the worst things a parent could endure.”
“Read the room and lock hell,” wrote another user. “You and your family deserve to suffer like the poor girl and her family did. Your brother rot in hell ”
