It is nine years since we saw Bridget Jones on the big screen for the last time. The third mention of the franchise, based on Helen Fielding’s books, was entitled Bridget Jones’s baby and was concluded with Bridget Settling. With her first child and beloved husband Mark Darcy by her side, the forty-Liets finally seemed happy.
As usual in the Bridget Jones universe, the calmness did not last long. In Mad About the Boy, middle -aged Bridget (Renée Zellweger) is back on the dating scene. After the death of Mark, struggling with sorrow and one single children, Bridget starts to flirt with the handsome 29-year-old Roxster (Leo Woodall). She also crosses paths with a married teacher, Scott Wallaker (Chiwetel Ejiofor).

How you can view Bridget Jones: angry about the boy now
The ROM-Kom will premiere in the UK On Thursday, February 13, 2025. You can book tickets via Vue, Showcase, Odeon or CineWorld websites.
Surprisingly, the new Bridget Jones film does not appear in American cinemas. Earlier films from the franchise performed at the back of the American Box Office. For example, the boy will immediately stream to streaming in the United States.

When is Bridget Jones: angry about the boy on rag?
Universal Pictures, the distributor of the film led by Renée Zellweger, has not revealed when the boy is premiered on digital. However, we will try to anticipate the date based on the earlier releases.
Much will depend on how the film will perform at the cash register. Fall Guy, Flop from Universal last year, became available to rent and buy only a month after the cinematic debut. On the other hand, the very successful wicked lasted 42 days to fall on rag.
At the moment all the indications are that crazy about the boy will be a smashing hit in the UK. Eduardo Leal, regional director of the Fue Free group group, stated that Ticket-Pre-Sales are higher than for Barbie.
Universal will probably not be in a hurry to go crazy about the boy on VOD – we expect it to arrive digitally at the end of March 2025.
The American digital release is slightly more difficult to predict because the film here has a different release strategy. However, there is a chance that it will follow the same pattern as the UK.
When is Bridget Jones: angry about the boy on DVD/Blu-ray?
Release times for physical copies of Universal Pictures films vary. In the VK, Fall Guy fell 63 days after the VOD premiere on DVD and Blu-ray, and Wicked will arrive after 66 days.
That is why we estimate that copies of crazy about the boy can arrive in May 2025.

In the US, the film led by Renée Zellweger appears on Peacock Thursday, February 13, 2025.
However, it is unknown when the film is streaming in the UK. Bridget Jones: Angry about the boy will probably appear on Sky and now, as Fall Guy did, but Universal still has to confirm it.
