A bully who attacked a subway passenger while shouting homophobic slurs was arrested after three months at large for trying to skip a train ticket, police and sources said.

Yeshayahu Carraway, 41, had attacked a 24-year-old man he followed off a northbound L train at the Lorimer Street stop in Williamsburg around 5 a.m. on Jan. 18, police said.

Carraway was armed with a knife as he allegedly shouted homophobic slurs and beat up the victim – hitting his head and body, police said. According to the police, the maniac then took off.

The 24-year-old man suffered minor injuries, although he refused medical attention at the scene, according to authorities.

But Carraway’s misdeeds caught up with him three months later.

The intolerant terror was arrested Saturday night at 7:40 p.m. after police caught him trying to avoid the subway fare by entering the emergency gate at the Hunts Point Avenue stop in the Bronx, sources said.

While Carraway was in custody on fare evasion charges, officers also linked him to the hateful attack, sources said.

The incident was not Carraway’s first brush with the law.

The brute has already been handcuffed several times for laying hands on people, after he was arrested for assault in 2011 and 2017, according to sources.
