A Synchrotron is one of different types of particle accelerators, accelerating electrons, protons and various other subatomical particles along a cyclical path. The powerful machine serves as a circular speedway with a synchronized magnetic field, so that X-rays of high energy can be sent with which researchers can display details on atomary and molecular level Die can all be impossible with more ordinary scientific tools and techniques.
This formidable concept of capturing the unseen lies in the core of Charles Brooks’ work, while photographing the small but huge interior of musical – and most recently scientific – instruments.

Continue Architecture in music Series, one of the newest highlights of the photographer, has worked with a 1717 Stradivarius violin. He described the string subject as one of the most extraordinary instruments he has recorded so far, he shares: “It was a rare opportunity and photography was both an honor and one of the most nerve -racking shoots I have done.”
The recent exploration of the photographer of the Australian Synchrotron can predict an exciting shift in a new empire of instruments. In the meantime you can find more about Brooks’ website And Instagram.
