Criminal Groups Allegedly Target Bank of America, Capital One and Wells Fargo Customers, Steal $155,000 in Brutal Robbery Scheme: Report

Customers at various of the largest banks in the US are reportedly the victims of a ruthless theft schedule, according to a new report.

Members of two criminal organizations in Maryland are accused of participating in a criminal gang, attempted murder, armed carjacking, armed robbery, abuse and firearm -related counts, report WMar 2 news.

Authorities say that the groups are aimed at customers who visit physical bank branches, especially at Bank of America, Capital One, Wells Fargo and Navy Federal Credit Union.

The groups are said to follow victims after they had used an ATM or came out of the bank – they hit their homes or companies.

In a particularly daring move, the thieves are accused of deliberately crashing in the car of a victim to force a stop and robes them under shot.

From August 2023 to July 2024, public prosecutors say that the groups have robbed 34 victims of more than $ 155,000 in five provinces in Maryland.

At the time of publishing, a total of seven people were charged.
