Connection connections for the safety of the community was made and robbed by a group of people while patroling Gompers Park on the north -west side, said prosecutors when they filed charges against a man who was accused of participating in the beating.
The victim was video recording of people in the park, 4222 West Foster, in his role as safety equipment in the afternoon of 12 May.
Public Prosecutors say that Adolfo Agreda, 41, who admitted all day, did not appreciate being filmed.
Allegedly, Agreda admitted that he and “a couple” other people physically attacked the lawyer of community safety and hit the 50-year-old with fists and legs until he fell to the ground.
While the man was down, the group tried to take the victim’s phone out of his hand, and Agreda would have grabbed a silver -plated chain from the neck of the safety equipment.
The police arrived to find the victim “bleeding from his mouth, nose and arms bleeding,” said a CPD report. He pointed to Agreda, sitting on a grass chair near the basketball court and said, “That’s he!”
The victim’s companion confirmed that Agreda was involved in the attack, but they said they could not see Agreda the chain because the safety equipment was on the ground, according to the CPD report.
Judge John Hock held Agreda on the accusation of theft and crime battery.
