Our opinion
Even after two weeks, the Currentbody LED light therapy showed face mask: Series 2 My face made it look more molly than before. After using this mask for four weeks for three days a week, my skin feels less busy, my fine lines are less noticeable and my skin color is more even.

If you have spent time on social media, Google or Netflix, chances are that you will be against the current LED light therapy. The first version of the Beauty Gadget could be seen on TV in 2022 when season 3 of Emily in Paris was broadcast, which shows that the protagonist Emily van Lily Collins fluctuated the LED mask.
Since then, AT-home Beauty Technology Company Currentbody has released its upgraded second model of the piece of Tech as criticism, with people like Bridgerton Star Nicola Coughlan describes the mask as an ‘extra small helper’.
It is not to be denied that the prior costs of LED masks, including Currentbody, is substantial. But if you tend to pay a monthly facial treatment, these handy gadgets for beauty technology will start to look more reasonable.
Although I have not tested series 1 of the LED light therapy mask of the Current Body, I have worn series 2 three times a week three times a week to test it on Tech advisor. Read on for more information, including what I think of the design functions, construction and performance.

The LED light therapy mask of the Currentbody: Series 2 is beautifully packaged. In the box you will find the mask itself, which is attached to the controller. The controller has a USB-C charging gate and one button. This button starts the treatment of 10 minutes and is automatically switched off as soon as it has worked its magic.

In the box you will also find a USB-C charger (but no plug) that fully charges the mask in 4.5 hours, a plush and super soft storage bag with drawstrings, a user manual, eye inserts and an NFC card, with which you can see the test results of your LED mask.
The inserts of the black eye can easily be picked in the mask for extra comfort. This helps with blocking any LED light that you can see from your peripheral display while using the face mask, along with making the piece of technology a more cozy and comfortable fit.
To fit the mask, you must attach the black multi-belt supplied with Velcro cushions. Although this is easy to do, you have to struggle with the fit to ensure that the belt is long or short enough to secure the mask in the correct position.
A sales argument about the LED light therapy mask of the power bottom is that it is supplied with a completely new and improved silicone shape with lip and nose cover. This makes it flexible, easy to bend and soft when it fits your face. Unlike some rivals, it is also supplied with an added chin belt, giving it a larger effective surface.
Another advantage is the design of the remote control. Comes with a clip on the back, you can tie it to your clothes, put a belt or put it in your pocket if your clothes have one.

On the inside of the mask there are 236 LEDs, the brand says that it will broadcast the three most “clinically recognized” wavelengths for anti-aging. These are:
- Red Light (633 Nm): It is believed that this stimulates the production of collagen, reduces fine lines and wrinkles
- Near-infrared (830 Nm): According to the brand, this helps to make the skin, sharpen and sharpen and tighten
- Deep near infrared (1072 Nm): this increases collagen production deep under the skin

When you’re done with the mask, you just have to wipe the inside down with a damp cloth and store it safely in its dust bag.
Performance and functions

Despite what it could look like, the mask is not painful to use. It doesn’t even cause discomfort and it doesn’t get hot to use. Even if you switch on the mask, you feel nothing at all. That’s because the inside of the mask, which is on your face, is super flexible, so when it’s on, you don’t even know that it is there (apart from the extra 300 g weight tied to your face).

I tried to use the mask, both with and without the eye inserts, but I would advise to do the first. The red LEDs are clear, so these handy inserts help prevent the lights from appearing in your peripheral view. I would also recommend switching on the mask before you start the 10-minute program-this way you will not be temporarily blinded by the intense red haze. If you have to switch off the mask halfway through treatment, hold down the button on the remote control.

To be truthful, I would not say that the Current Body Series 2 is delivered with tons of functions. In a sense, this is a big plus, because it is so easy to use: just search for 10 minutes, put on the mask and press the single button on the remote control. However, it does mean that you cannot adjust the treatment to a certain care for skin care.
That said, I think that most skin care treatments can best be left to the professionals and the Current Body Series 2 is certainly made by a number of them. Therefore, every time you use the mask, you get the advantage of three clinically proven wavelengths, each with a multitude of benefits – such as stimulating the production of collagen, reducing fine lines and wrinkles and stimulating, tightening and clarifying skin. And I can confirm that it does exactly after four weeks after using this.
After my first 10-minute treatment I have to admit that I expected wonders from all the hype that this LED light therapy has received. But the current body does not act in fast solutions, it is about long -term results. That is why after two weeks I noticed that my skin looked more desirable. After four weeks I see a difference in texture, uneven skin color and redness.

All this mask cannot do? Tell you how much battery is left. Although I went three weeks before I had to charge this device, it meant that when I came to use it in the fourth week, I had to find the hard way and enjoy my nocturnal LED routine the next day as soon as it finished charging. Maybe you should also play with the belts to make the mask fit the way you want.
Price and availability
The Current Body LED Light Therapy Face Mask: Series 2 costs £ 399.99 in the UK and you can buy from Current Body of Amazon. It is $ 469.99 in the US and it is also available at Amazon and Currentbody.
It is an expensive purchase compared to the Shark Cyoglow LED light mask (£ 299.99/$ 349), who also tested Tech advisor, and who has the advantage of many more functions. It has four light therapy programs (for Smet repair, aging and more), a full-color-mounted remote control with a countdown-timer and battery indicator, very effective cooling blocks under the eyes, LEDs that automatically dim when you remove the mask and more. When the price and functions are concerned, the shark model is undoubtedly the better buy.
Do you have to buy the Current Body Series 2?
All in all, I am very impressed by the Current Body series 2. Once you get used to having the mask on your face, it is the perfect excuse to lean back and relax for 10 minutes while you browse, read, watch TV or just take 10 to do Nada.
Another impressive performance is the difference that I have noticed in my skin – and that is after four weeks! It has reduced redness, given my skin an even tone and helped to return the hands of time to fine lines.
As with most things, consistency is the key. And the LED mask is no different. That is why it is a wise idea to keep this beauty gadget on hand as a reminder to actually use it.
Anyway, I really assess the fact that all the hard work is done for you. Although it would be nice to choose a different mode and mix things, the USP of this mask is that it is designed to help with anti-aging. And it fulfills more than that functioning.
