This Mother’s Day weekend, The other art fairPresented by Saatchi Art, returns to Zerospace in Brooklyn for his 15th local edition, which will be delivered from 8 to 11 May. Known for placing independent artists for and in the middle, the stock market continues to challenge traditional art world standards by providing direct access to 125 advanced makers.
In the run-up to the stock exchange of this spring, we shine a light on the medium of drawing-a form that remains just as immediately and intimate as always. Whether it’s figurative studies, whimsical illustrations or expressive line work, these five striking artists use drawing to push boundaries and connect to viewers in fresh, personal ways.
Lauren Ly Draws cozy, detailed interiors inspired by nostalgia in children, literature and imagined worlds filled with comfort and obstinacy.

Trained in documentary photography, Steve Moors Now crafts expressive digital prints that unite signature, design and photographic sensitivity.
Andrea Cáceres is a NYC-based illustrator that combines playful design with stories about brands, products, books and her own pet brand.

NYC artist Ben Lenovitz transforms everyday pets into charming characters, a practice born of Serendipity (and irony – he is allergic!).

Formed by West Coast Roots and NYC Energy, Charles Buckley Creates nostalgic ink drawings inspired by found photos and memories.
In addition to the artwork, the other art fair offers a lively and compelling visitor experience. Recommended artist and New York Times Bestseller author Anna Marie Tendler invites guests to sit for a portrait in her richly stylized photographic tableau – an extension of her celebrated series Rooms in the first house. Illustrator Joe Kraft brings a whimsical turn of art valuation with an interactive treasure hunt about the location. Artist Kelli Kikcio offers a composite selection of flash designs, so that you can permanently take art home in the form of a machine-free tattoo (only Thursday and Friday).
Every day at the fair offers fresh, practical experiences led by artists. Visitors can receive a free fantasy hand-drawn illustration from Ben Lenovitz (only Thursday) and personalize their fashion with patch sewing on site by OOH Baby (Friday only). During the weekend, participate in practical markets with Summer Space Studio (Saturday and Sunday) Perfect for a Mother’s Day moment.
The fair appears the energy with Friday, a special evening compiled with secret NYC. With DJs, interactive installations and local sips, it is a lively snapshot of the creative wrist from Brooklyn.
