Eastbound I-70 reopens near Glenwood Springs after crash

Eastbound Interstate 70 was closed Sunday evening near Glenwood Springs for a crash, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.

The interstate was closed about 10 miles east of Glenwood Springs, between exit 125 for Hanging Lake and exit 129 for Bair Ranch, CDOT officials said. It reopened just before 6 p.m. Sunday.

Multiple Waze users in the area reported standstill traffic backing up 2 miles east of the crash during the closure.

This is a developing story and may be updated.
