Elon Musk expressed indignation on Thursday about a wave of vandalism and attacks focused on Tesla owners and dealers, who described the violence against his electric car company as a ‘big mistake’.
“I think a big mistake is being done to the people of Tesla and our customers,” said De Doge Chief Fox News “Special Report” Host Bret Baier.
“I mean, Tesla is a peaceful company that has made great cars, great products – that is all it has done,” argued Musk, 53.
“It has not damaged anyone, and yet people commit violence.”
Tesla cars, dealers and charging stations have been focused throughout the country in recent weeks by Vandals and Archstichters – in a clear protest of Musk’s work leading President Trump’s Department of Environmental Efficiency.
The attacks varied from vehicles that were classified and illegible with Anti-Trump-Graffiti are set on fire and are shot, while charging stations set fire to Molotov cocktails in the same way.
Tesla employees and Musk themselves have also received death threats, according to the billionaire Tech Mogul, who had difficulty understanding why his company has become a target.
“What do they do this for? Why?” he said.
“What happens, it seems to me, is that they are fed extremely left propaganda, and they believe it. It’s a shame,” Musk told Baier, with the argument that the “real problem” is not “the crazy man who bombs a Tesla dealer’s ship” but rather “the propaganda brought that man to it.
“Those are the real villains here, and we go after them,” warned the Trump administration officer.
In his one-on-one with Baier-in which a young child, presumably Musk’s 4-year-old son, X, could be heard restlessly in the background-the Doge-Chef also asked to reveal something about Trump that most people would not know.
“I think the president is a good man. I think he is an honest man. I have to do something in common or something that is wrong that I would say is morally wrong,” he answered.
“Not even once.”
