Eureka revealed its latest flagship robot vacuum cleaner, the J15 Max Ultra at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas earlier this month. And we were there to see it. This model builds on the technology of earlier iterations – and solves some limitations of previous models – with some thoughtful, problem -solving functions.
What is the J15 Max Ultra?
The J15 Ultra is an emerging mop robot from Eureka. It will be the top model of the brand.
When will the J15 Max Ultra be available?
Eureka’s new flagship robot vacuum cleaner will be released in the US in June 2025. So far we do not know the launch date in the UK.
What will the J15 Max Ultra cost?
The American launch price will be $ 1,299. This is easy to compare with competing flagships from other brands. Dream’s flagship X50 Ultra, which has similar functions, will have an American launch price of $ 1,669.99.
We will update this article as soon as we know the launch prize of the J15 Max Ultra in the UK.
What functions does the J15 Max Ultra have?
What we like about the J15 Max Ultra is that it feels well thought out, with technology that has been developed to tackle the limitations of the robot vacuum cleaner and to minimize the annoyances – dust in the corners and hair that is stuck around the brush – Robot vacuum cleaners are confronted.
Here are some of the best features:
Intelliview 2.0
Eureka
The Eureka Intelliview system, which was already available on models before the J15 Max Ultra, uses AI to help the robot identify spilled liquids-and to distinguish between wet and dry junk. When there is a leak, the entire area is cleaned intensively.
But users discovered an error in the system: the robot found it difficult to notice clear spilled liquids or, for example, milk on a white floor. Enter Intelliview 2.0, which has solved this problem.
In uses both an infrared vision system and an FHD Vision sensor. This gives the robot two ways to see and by using AI to analyze these images, he can essentially see texture, allowing him to notice the water and other transparent leaks that would miss earlier models.
22,000 PA Sucking power
A few years ago, top models had a suction of 8,000 Pa, so it’s incredible how quickly this has increased. This suction level must leave hard flaws flawlessly and also make carpets quite clean.
Sweepextend and Scrubextend

Eureka
One of the largest bugs of robot vacuum cleaners has always been that they do not clean up to the edges and in the corners of rooms. The Eureka solution for this is an extendable side wipe machine that the brand has cuddled Sweepextend. This is accompanied by a mop path, which can also be wet up to the walls. Guess? It’s called scrubexend.
Speaking of the sweeper, it is called the dragonclaw, thanks to the claw -like design (more like fingers than a wheel) that is made to ensure that long hair does not get wrapped around it, like with a traditional sweeper.
Flexible

Eureka
In fact, the removal of tightly stolen hairs from different parts of a robot vacuum cleaner must be the most unpleasant part of maintenance. The J15 Max Ultra still has a function to minimize this task: the flexirazor, a set of metal teeth, cuts hair away from the brush roll.
Obstacross

Eureka
Recently, a number of brands have tackled the problem of raised thresholds and small steps between rooms, making parts of the house traditional for robots. Roborock’s Qrevo Curv can now cross thresholds up to 4 cm, while the Dream X50 Ultra Complete can handle a step of 4.2 cm or combined steps up to 6 cm, thanks to the extendable robot legs.
The Eureka robot has extendable wheels with which it can bridge a single step of a maximum of 2.99 cm (1.18 inch) or combined steps of 3.98 cm (1.57 inches).
We will assess the J15 Max Ultra to see how well these functions work in daily life. But in the meantime, view our top recommendations of models that we have already assessed in our overviews of the best robot vacuum cleaners and the best cheap robot vacuum cleaners.
