Our opinion
The Eureka J15 Ultra is a powerful robot vacuum cleaner with a lot of functions and a middle price. The base station maintains itself perfectly and you will rarely have to intervene, while the cleaning track is exemplary.

It was not so long since I tested the challenged J15 Pro Ultra Robot vacuum cleaner from Eureka, which I absolutely loved. Now I have played with the more affordable Eureka J15 Ultra and discovered that despite its discount of $ 300 it is a strong contender for the best robot vacuum.
The Eureka J15 Ultra has an MSRP of $ 699, but can often be purchased for less than $ 600 (see it on Amazon), which is great for our collective portfolios.
Design and construction
- Elegant black -white combo
- No-tange brush
- Fairly large base station
The Eureka J15 Ultra is rather comparable to the J15 Pro Ultra because the bases are almost identical. The robot is equipped with many sensors to map your house, by navigating the space and avoiding obstacles that you leave behind.
The station takes over quite a bit of space in your house, because it is not a compact model. But that is because it has room for two water tanks for clean and dirty water. The dust bag is hidden behind a front panel.

The base station gets as many jobs as possible from your hands, collects the dust and debris from the robotvac, fill the vacuum with clean water and drain the dirty water compartment, wash and dry the mop and charging the device.
The J15 Pro Ultra cleans its own basic drawer, but this model does not, so you will have to take on that job yourself. Fortunately, removing the tray is extremely simple, and cleaning requires only a little rinse and scrubbing if you have ignored it a bit.
Performance and functions
- Powerful: 19,000 Pa
- Cuts her to prevent tangles
- Wash and dries mop cushions
Linking the Eureka robot with the app takes only a few minutes. You must link the robot to your Wi-Fi network, wait a few minutes to update the device and then send it to the first task that maps your house. Once that has happened, you can edit the card to name the rooms that it did not get well, for example, more accurate split rooms and corridors, and so on.
There are several cleaning modes to choose from before each task. If you only want the robot to vacuum the house, you can certainly do that, but you can also have the vacuum vacuum and then mop the areas, adjust the level of adaptation and pad preferences. There is also a Tic Tac Teen mode that you can switch on, in which the robot wipe and mop crisscross during cleaning, so that it absorbs everything.

The Eureka app can easily be integrated with your go-to smart assistant, whether it is Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri, so that you can give speech assignments.
The new Eureka J15 Ultra comes with 19,000 PA suction power, which is actually more than the previous flagship, so it produces amazing results throughout the house, regardless of which surface it cleans. It grabbed dirt, food crumbs, pets hair and everything in between like a pro. It performed well, even with stubborn pet hair from the spot on the carpet where one of my dogs likes to sleep. I have not noticed any hair around the roller, and that is thanks to the Flexirazor system, that the hair cuts while it picks it up.
The Eureka J15 Ultra does a good job in navigating through the house and avoiding pets and various items on the floor, although it sometimes eats a sock when it is dark in the room. In that case it will scream for help to untangle it.
Mowping is also an area in which this robot -vacuum excels. Equipped with two rotating pugs, one of which extends to achieving baseboards and corners, makes the floors look so perfect. Even when the stubborn stains came across, it made different steps to clean the floor perfectly. When you come across carpets, the pugs lift enough to avoid them, which is always handy because nobody wants damp carpets.

Every now and then the robot returns to the station to clean the pugs that ensure that it will not switch dirty everywhere. When the job is completed, it parks itself, empties the container again, washes the dodk and empties the dirty water compartment. Then the station starts to dry the air, which takes a few hours to complete. Yet that is a good thing, because it happens that the pugs smell terrible from all the structure of bacteria.
With the app you can choose how often you want the pugs to be washed, what is the name of the water when it washes, and whether you want the cool or hot air to dry them. There are about a million institutions to play with if you want, but I discovered that it worked well behind the standard values.
You will receive notifications on your phone when you have to top up the water tank or empty the dirty when the robot is stuck somewhere, and so on.
Price and availability
The Eureka J15 Ultra is available at Amazon for $ 699.99, but at the time of writing it is for sale for $ 599.99. That is much less than the previous J15 Ultra Pro. Despite the price difference, there are no That Many differences between the two versions. Apart from the fact that it does not clean its own base drawer and does not lift the roll brush, they are almost the same. In fact, the budget -friendly J15 Ultra actually delivers more suction, which was unexpected.
Are there models of other brands that you could get for less? Yes. Will they deliver the same number of functions? Not entirely. To be honest, for this price, the Eureka J15 Ultra is an absolute bargain and should definitely be on your shortlist.
Do you have to buy the Eureka J15 Ultra?
If you want a robot -vacuum cleaner that can do just about everything for a great price, then the Eureka J15 Ultra is one that you have to consider. If you can find it on sale, even better! In my opinion, enough jobs of your DIY list are needed that it is worth the investment.
