When forest fires fell through the Pacific Palisades and Altadena last month, the fate of the stock markets that participated in La’s Art Week was an open question. Many in the art world wonder if it was too soon after a great tragedy to continue with such a grand event, especially such a commercially driven. But while the dust settled and cleaned up the smoke, five of the six fairs-Frieze, Felix, De la Art Show, the other art fair and post-fair announced that they would return this year as planned, stating their dedication this year To their dedication to supporting the artistic community of LA and their belief in his resilience at a charged moment. In response to the forest fires last month destroyed large parts of Los Angeles, Hammer Museum Curator Aram Moshayedi began to reach with artists who were immediately affected and asked them to each carry a work for a group show. The result is Hundred percentA pop-up benefit exhibition with around 100 artists who represent a diverse cross-section of La’s creative community-a striking illustration of the number of artists affected by the tragedy. As the title of the show explains, 100% of the profit goes directly to the participants.

This Scrappy DIY-Pop-Up exhibition originally borrowed its name of a well-known Global Art Fair Juggernaut until the organizers received a cease-and-main letter that they immediately screened on T-shirts and instead settled on the absurd name Edacted Lincoln Heights DTLA. Organized by Wyatt Mills, Ben Quinn and Raffi Kalenderian, the second edition of Divorced Will take place on the 36th story of a skyscraper in the city center in the appropriate Gallery Thirtysix and will have the work of 20 artists, including Zoe Alameda, Solomon Rousseau, Meg Jorgenson and others.
