If a theme stands out in this week’s list, this is the presence of strong, talented women. With Patty Chang, Myrlande cash and Amy Sherald all in solo exhibitions, it is a great moment to consider the mass skills of these mid-career artists. And although Rembrandt is perhaps the current exhibition of the Jewish Museum, the book Esther is the inspiration. That said, all artists in a show about BIPOC design history at the Ford Foundation are definitely worth seeing.
