Ford will the 2025 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb with the Super Mustang Mach-E.
Apart from a bodyshell that looks vague on the production car, there is little in common between the Super Mustang Mach-E and the regular Mustang Mach-E.
The clearest connections between the two vehicles are the designs for the header and tail light.

There is a front big splitter that protrudes a fairly long road and a huge diffuser behind. Both are completely surpassed by the towering wing that rises from where the rear windshield would be normal, and is larger than the top of the roof.
With its longer, flatter bonnet, as well as its low position and wide arches, the racing car looks more like a normal coupé than a family -friendly SUV.
The Super Mustang Mach-E runs on OZ Racing Wheels SHOD with slick Pirelli tires.

So far, Ford has not released any details about the Super Mustang Mach-e, except to say that the bizarre Aero kit generates a maximum of 2835 kg downforce.
That is the best that the 2722 kg generated by the F-150 Lightning Supertruck that Ford took on the peak in 2024, and the 1996kg produced by the Transit Superan 4.2 entered the 2023 challenge.
Last year’s super truck (below) was powered by three six-phase Stard UHP engines that made a total of 1193 kW (1600 hp).
Despite the brick -like appearance, the Supertruck finished first of the general last year. Driven by Romain Dumas, the super truck managed to get through 156 corners to reach the 4300m top in 8: 53,553.

Romain Dumas will stay at Ford this year and will control the Super Mustang Mach-E. If the car is powerful and well sorted enough, he might even beat the EV record that he established in 2018 with the Volkswagen ID. R, who won the race of that year on the mountain in 7: 57.148.
Even if the Super Mustang Mach-E is beaten by another competitor, it must be considerably faster than the model used in the 1916 race, which lasted 28 minutes and three seconds to climb the peak along the then unpaved road.
