Former NFL star Richard Sherman accused of Duik

Super Bowl champion Richard Sherman is accused of driving under the influence More than a year after he was arrested in the state of Washington -the second time that the defensive back has had to deal with drunken row.

The former Seattle Seahawk was accused of refusing to do a breath test – defined as a gross crime in the state – which could lead to a stricter fine, the office of the King County Attorney’s Office told the Seattle Times.

Sherman was persuaded by a Washington State Trooper on I-405 just before 2 hours on February 24, 2024, but only charged on Tuesday.

The 37-year-old had driven 79 km / h in a 60 mph zone, while “according to the police bounced back and forth in the lane.

Once he had stopped, Sherman told Troopers that he had had two Margaritas and refused to do a Breathalyzer test, the Seattle Times reported. However, he agreed to do some voluntary tests that led the police to conclude that he was under the influence and took him in custody,

The police gained a signed order to pull Sherman’s blood about two hours after he had switched, that showed his blood alcohol level of approximately 0.11, above the legal limit of 0.08.

The charges were only filed on Tuesday – the day after the office of the public prosecutor received the blood test results from the Crime Lab, according to the report.

Sherman, 35, was previously arrested for drunk driving and domestic disorders in July 2021 after the police said that the former Seahawk crashed his car in a building zone and then tried to break into the house of his in -laws outside of Seattle.

The case was arranged in March 2022 when Serman argued in Seattle guilty for two crimes.

Sherman played for the Seahawks from 2011 to 2017 and helped the team in 2014 to Super Bowl XLVIII in Leiden. He later played three seasons with the San Francisco 49ers and a short season with the Tampa Bay Bucaneers before retiring after the 2021 season.

Since then he has worked since 2022 as a pre- and postgame analyst for prime videos “Thursday Night Football” and as a panel member on FS1’s “Undisputed”.
