Two former Penn State football players are facing rape charges stemming from an alleged incident in July.
Jameial Lyons and Kaveion Keys have been charged with rape, aggravated indecent assault and sexual assault, along with other misdemeanor charges. Both will be arraigned on Wednesday, according to criminal records.

Lyons, a native of Philadelphia and 19 years old, is charged with rape, aggravated assault without consent, consensual deviate sexual intercourse and aggravated individual assault without consent, along with charges of indecent assault without the consent of others and invasion of privacy without consent.
Keys, also 19 and from Richmond, Virginia, is charged with rape, aggravated indecent assault without consent and sexual assault, along with one count of indecent assault without the consent of others.
Lyons and Keys are no longer members of the Penn State football team, with a spokesperson telling PennLive on July 31 that the two had been placed on interim suspension to deal with a “personal matter,” before confirming three days later that the two were not on the track. team even longer.
Penn State also confirmed Tuesday that it was aware of the charges the former players are facing.
