We now know when the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge -Smartphone is officially launched, as well as some more details about the three cameras.
Reliable Leaker Evan Blass (aka @evleaks) has placed an interesting image on X, which seems to be an official Teaser from Samsung Italy for the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge. It shows a blurry, heavily stylized smartphone side-on, with the accompanying words “Beyond Slim”.
The real payout is the date that suggests (in Italian) that Samsung will finally hold an event to launch his phone on 13 May 2025. That is less than fourteen days away.
Regarding the rollout of the telephone in stores, earlier reports from Korea suggest availability from 23 May in China and South Korea, where the rest of the world will follow on May 30.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Selfie Cam
In separate news we now have more solid information about the nature of the camera setup of the Galaxy S25 Edge.
Website Sammyguru claims to have seen details of the three cameras of the Galaxy S25 Edge on a non -specified regulatory website. Such websites are always the last stop before an official unveiling, so this is quite plausible.
Firstly, the detail is that the Galaxy S25 edge will perform a 12MP selfie camera. Based on that specification, and the fact that this uses a sensor of 1/3.2-inch, it seems to be exactly the same selfie camera as the rest of the Samsung Galaxy S25 series.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge main camera spec
The same source also saw the broad and ultra-wide cameras of the Galaxy S25 Edge in this regulatory database. It points to a main camera of 200 MP 1/3-inch, which looks a lot like that of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra for us.
That should at least partially make up for the lack of a special telephone camera. Presumably there will be enough pixels to make some respectable additional 2x and 3x recordings.
The other camera will be a 12MP 1/2.55-inch Ultra-Wide, which sounds like the same component as the regular Samsung Galaxy S25 for us.
All in all, this sounds like a hybrid device, which takes components from the S25 range and fits them in a super hand (and possibly paved) body.
