She’s not even thirty yet, but Georgia Harrison has experienced more heartbreak than most people in her life.
In 2020, the Love Island star became a victim of revenge porn when her ex-boyfriend Stephen Bear secretly filmed them in an intimate moment and shared the video online.

He was sentenced to 21 months in prison last March, but was released in early January.
But things are looking up for Georgia, 29, who reveals she is dating a new man – who is not in the public eye.
She also battled her pain and took part in Celebrity SAS last year, eventually winning the show in an emotional moment that aired on TV earlier this month.
“I just felt so incredibly empowered,” she tells us. “I thought, after everything I’ve been through in recent years, to go through the whole process and be just me and another woman at the end; It gives me goosebumps just thinking about it.
“It was the end of this huge journey that I’ve been on and it felt like things had to happen to get to that point.”
Georgia’s experience with SAS was all the more special as the night before she flew to New Zealand to film it, she Ministry of Justice were changing the law on image-based sexual abuse.
Thanks to her tireless campaigning, prosecutors no longer have to prove that the suspect intended to cause distress by sharing photos without the victim’s consent.
“That is the greatest achievement of my life so far,” she says. “It was the day before I got on the plane to go to SAS and I only found out the night before that things were changing.
“I was screaming in the kitchen with my best friend and my mother when I found out.
“It was a huge reflective moment in my life, and I was just thinking about the fact that the law has changed, and the next thing you know, I’m on a glacier with Pete Wicks doing SAS.”

Georgia was in SAS: Who Dares Wins with some great athletes such as Olympic boxer Anthony Ogogo and former England rugby player Chris Robshaw.
But it was only she and female world boxing champion Lani Daniels who made it to the end.
“It was so much harder than it looks,” she says. “It’s the environment, it’s everything.
“You can’t go anywhere alone, you can’t go to the toilet alone, you hardly sleep, you’re constantly cold.
“Your life is no longer in your hands for that short period of time, but it is also something that builds you up enormously as a person and gives you a strong feeling.”
In addition to her spirituality, Georgia believes it was her past trauma that pushed her through to the end.
She says: “I feel like what I’ve been through has made me stronger, made me braver, made me more empathetic and made me someone who has real compassion for other people, especially women, who are going through things like this. what I’m going through.”

After getting together on Love Island All Stars earlier this year, she also had a brief romance with Anton Danyluk.
And Georgia tells us how she threw herself into dating after they split in May.

“But recently I thought, I’m really ready for a relationship now, so I’m just going to put myself out there and go on a few more dates.
What are the laws surrounding revenge porn?
New rules for revenge porn came into effect on January 31 this year.
These were introduced to make it easier for authorities to prosecute cases of revenge porn.
With the changes, prosecutors won’t have to prove they intend to cause distress when someone shares intimate images, according to Revenge Porn Helpline.
Sharing intimate images with the intention of causing distress, shame and humiliation is now considered a serious crime.
The offense is treated more seriously if the image is shared for sexual gratification.
Revenge porn involves sharing sexually explicit images or videos of individuals without their consent.
It has been a criminal offense since 2015 and carries a prison sentence of up to two years.
“If I like them, I like them. If I don’t, I might make new friends or become someone with a good business relationship.
“I can’t sit at home every night with my best friend on the couch and say, ‘One day we’ll meet someone.'”
She continues, “I was open to dating people from all walks of life, and it just so happened that I’m dating someone who just got a nice, normal job and is out of the public eye.
“It’s really refreshing and he’s very grounded.
“It’s not something I’m shouting from the rooftops yet, but it’s going really well, and I’m really enjoying my time with him.”
And it looks like Georgia is happier than ever with her new guy.
She adds: “One thing I feel when I’m with him is that I can be completely myself and I think that’s really important.
“For the first time in a while I’ve met someone who I think is a really good person and I’m enjoying being around it.”
She even plans to spend her 30th birthday with him on a romantic vacation in December “because things seem to be going in the right direction.”
‘Be yourself’
Georgia is now urging people to be themselves when they go on dates[/caption]
Georgia believes that being authentic is the most attractive version of a person[/caption]
After finding her husband, Georgia is now encouraging others to join her in empowered dating.
She works with Tinder and NGO NO MOREwho have opened a pop-up nail bar, Nailing Dating, offering free manicures and dating tips.
“When I was younger, I would get really nervous and think about what I was going to wear, what makeup I was going to get? Will he like me?” she’s done.
“But as I’ve gotten older, I’ve definitely learned that the most attractive version of yourself is the authentic version of yourself.
“And if you try to change yourself, try to be like someone else, or try to be someone that the date would want you to be, then later they will fall in love with someone who isn’t. You.
“So now on dates I try to put those thoughts in the back of my mind and be completely myself.
“If they don’t like me, it doesn’t matter. They’re just not the one for me.”
