Georgia Mother dies of 'pure heartache' days after killing the son

A Georgia mother died of a broken heart, just a few days after her 20-year-old son was discovered furiously, according to family members beaten to her house.

Tasha Lawson, 48, died of heart complications in a hospital in Waycross on April 13, only 11 days after her son, Tee’andrick Lawson, was found dead in his bedroom – of which family members believe it was a hate crime because of his sexual orientation, WTOC reported.

The mother’s death was ruled as from “natural causes” of an “aortal dissection -fracture, hypertensive and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disorders.”

Her family said it showed that the mother died “on pure heartache.”

“Tee’andrick and his mother were inseparable. Their band was deep and unbreakable – dear friends who did everything together,” said a GoFundMe page that raised money for the funerals of the mother and son.

“The pain of losing her son was too much for her heart to wear.”

Tee’andrick Lawson was killed on April 2, of which family members said it was in the hands of two men who broke into the house while his mother was gone. They believe that he was the target of his sexual orientation that the Georgia Bureau of Investigation would not confirm on Wednesday.

“He just wanted to be him, his sister Terreona Harrison told WTOC. “He couldn’t even agree. Everyone accepted him, but the men who couldn’t accept themselves,”

For her own death, his mother WTOC had told that her son was ‘brutal’.

“I can’t wake him up and say, come to the store with me. I can’t do that. He just didn’t deserve what they did to him. He didn’t earn that.”
